Our PMs’ insistence to stay mute on this matter, like Manmohan Singh is deafening, which begs the question what is the magic number? By comparison, if a national level literary award winning author is murdered for his views, no President or Prime Minster of a democratic country would stay quiet. Imagine if Salman Rushdie is harmed by terrorists tomorrow, will Cameron stay quiet about it? and posit , that the law take its course, kyunki saab theek hai? How is the murder of Narendra Dabholkar, M. M. Kalburgi, & Govind Pansare any different from murder of the Charlie Hebdo staff?
